This past Monday, we had a stroke system of care training hosted by Riverside Regional Medical Center - Peninsula, our closest comprehensive stroke center. We had 22 providers from 5 IOW Fire/EMS agencies. We reviewed critical stroke assessments, the different types of strokes, and practiced with real life case scenarios. We thank the providers at Riverside for the very important information and for providing dinner.

We offer monthly training sessions for our providers and CPR and other classes for the general public.
