Join the Rescue Squad as a Recruit Program Member

Are you interested in emergency services but have no prior certifications? Our Recruit Program may be for you. No certifications are required to join (must be 18+), and we’ll provide the training you need — including CPR, EMT-B, and EVOC. You’ll have 12 months to complete your certifications while assisting with at least 12 hours of administrative or station duties each month.

Stroke Training with Riverside RMC

This past Monday, we had a stroke system of care training hosted by Riverside Regional Medical Center - Peninsula, our closest comprehensive stroke center. We had 22 providers from 5 IOW Fire/EMS agencies. We reviewed critical stroke assessments, the different types of strokes, and practiced with real life case scenarios.
